Since 1994, Stabilidcape has built a strong reputation as a leader in retail, industrial, commercial, and residential developments. We believe in investing in the future of the construction industry by providing financial support to deserving students through our Bursary Programme.
What Does the Bursary Cover?
Our bursary offers financial assistance for the following expenses:
- Registration fee
- Tuition fees
- Exam fees
- Study-related equipment (textbooks, equipment, subject to request)
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the Stabilidcape Bursary, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Hold a Grade 12 exemption certificate with proof of academic results
- Be enrolled full-time at a recognised and accredited University or University of Technology in South Africa
- Maintain a minimum of 60% aggregate
- Be studying towards a BEng, BSc, ND, or BTech qualification in:
- Quantity Surveying
- Construction Management
- Building Science
- Not be receiving financial assistance from another bursary (unless approved by Stabilidcape)
Minimum Subject Requirements
- University applicants: Minimum C symbol for Mathematics and Science
- University of Technology applicants: Minimum D symbol for Mathematics and Science
How to Apply
Application Deadline: 30 November 2026

Follow these steps to apply:
- Email admin@stabilidcape.co.za with the subject line: "Stabilid Cape Bursary – 2026"
- Attach clear copies of the following required documents:
- Cover letter (150–250 words) outlining your motivation for your career path
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Certified copy of ID document
- Recent passport-sized photo (not older than 6 months)
- Certified copy of Matric certificate / latest academic results
- Certified copy of full tertiary academic record (if applicable)
- Acceptance letter or preliminary acceptance letter from your tertiary institution
- Tax Invoice or fee quotation from the tertiary institution
Selection & Interview Process
- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview at our Head Office in Brackenfell, Cape Town.
- If you do not receive feedback, please consider your application unsuccessful.
Bursary Conditions & Obligations
- Students must successfully complete all subjects each semester. Any failed subjects or rewrites are the student’s responsibility.
- Vacation work during holiday periods is mandatory.
- Compulsory one-week student training in June/July.
- Work-back obligation: 1-year work commitment for each year sponsored.

Placement depends on available vacancies at the time.
Will I need to provide my own PPE?
No, Stabilid Cape provides the necessary Personal Protective Equipment.
Is a job guaranteed after graduation?
Job placement is subject to performance, qualifications, and company needs.
Are mentoring opportunities available?
Yes, bursary students may have the opportunity to mentor new recipients.
Can I choose my university?
Stabilid Cape has identified specific institutions for students to choose from.
What happens after graduation?
Graduates must work at Stabilid Cape for the duration of their sponsorship, excluding in-service training periods.
